Brush a baking dish with butter.
Cut the baguette into 1,5 cm thick slices.
Brush each one with a little butter and place them on a dish
In a bowl, mix eggs and sugar together.
Stir in milk and orange-flower water.
Pre-heat the oven to 180ºC
Dip bread in milk and egg mixture for about 20 minutes. Do not let bread sit in mixture too long or it will be soggy and fall apart
Place the bread in the buttered baking dish and top with the flaked almonds.
Bake in oven for 30 minutes
Serve warm or at room temperature with or without a side dish: a fresh cream, jam, applesauce…
