
1: Ingredients (FOR THE FERMENTED PASTRY)
250g of flour
½ glass of fresh yeast
10cl of milk
75g of softened butter
1 egg
20g of sugar
A little bit of salt
2: Ingredients (FOR THE FILLING)
1 kg of plums
25 cl of light cream
1 egg
100g of sugar
Ground cinnamon
3: Method
FOR THE PASTRY:
In a large bowl, beat the flour with butter. Gradually add the egg, sugar and salt beating well after each addition.
Heat the milk in a small pan at a temperature no more than 30-40ºC. Remove from fire and add the yeast until dissolved. Mix well. Cover with a clean cloth and let to rest for 1 hour.
FOR THE CUSTARDS:
In a bowl, pour the egg with sugar and cream. Mix until all the ingredients are combined. Reserve.
Wash, pit and cut the plums in halves.
Pre-heat the oven to 180ºC
Cover the baking pan (circular or rectangular) with the cake batter.
Place the plum halves all over the surface and top equally with the custards.
Bake for 25 minutes or until it gets a nice golden brown color on the surface.
Before serving, spread the cinnamon.
